The Studio
Based in Nanaimo, British Columbia, we are a small team of designers and craftspeople. Every cabinet that leaves our shop is drawn, cut, finished and fitted by people who care about how a drawer closes ten years from now.
What we do
We translate the way you live into proportion, material and light. CAD drawings, 3D renderings and finish samples — so there are no surprises on installation day.
Cabinets are built to order in our Nanaimo workshop. CNC precision, hand-finished surfaces, and hardware engineered to outlast trends.
Our own installers — never sub-contracted. Levels checked, reveals tuned, sites left cleaner than we found them.
How we work
A site visit and an honest conversation about budget, timeline and how the space should feel.
Drawings, 3D renderings and material samples. We refine until every detail is right on paper.
Cabinets are cut, assembled and finished in our shop. Quality-checked before they ever leave.
Delivered, fitted and walked through with you. We don't leave until the last drawer is perfect.

S&C Luminance is a workshop and design studio in Nanaimo, British Columbia. We make cabinets the slow way — drawn carefully, built honestly, installed by the same hands that built them.
We work with homeowners, builders and designers across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. Whether the project is a single vanity or a whole-house millwork package, the standard is the same.
